Description

St. Nicolas has been a feature of its local landscape for 800 years. Ever present as local structures rise and fall, and act as a waypoint for travellers on land and on the nearby River Humber estuary.

In common with many churches and before the advent of satellite technology, it was used as a trig point on the local ordnance survey maps. Learn about this and the history of our church as you explore our ancient 13th Century building and the beautiful grounds which surround it.
