What do businesses get out of a membership?

This depends on which package you purchase, however, all packages include:

- Listing in the directory (the package you choose will determine what information is included in your listing)
- Shout outs on social media (if you have content to be shared and I believe my audience will find it interesting.
- Your content will always be prioritised.
- Monthly emails
- Future access to mentors
- Links to recommended B2B service providers
- Assistance to help your business grow, wherever I am able

What is the criteria for membership?

No matter which package you choose from, your business must follow the below criteria to be accepted:

1. You must be an independent small business (bigger businesses are eligible for Patron Memberships only)
2. You must be located in Grimsby, Cleethorpes or surrounding areas. I use my discretion of how far away businesses can be, however, if you are further afield, you must deliver to Grimsby and Cleethorpes. This includes businesses applying for Patron Membership. If you are not based locally, I am afraid you are not relevant to my audience. Sorry.
3. You must be registered as a business, and have all the legal certificates etc that are relevant for your business type. It is your responsibility to ensure you have these and I accept no liability for failure to possess these.

Pyramid Schemes
Weight Loss Products
Cosmetic Surgery

How do I become a member?

You can join Made in Grimsby, by choosing a Membership Package and adding your business to the directory.

Please note that businesses require an Admins Approval before they appear on the website, and will not be approved until payment has been received.

I'm a larger business, can I still get involved?

Absolutely! Whilst the Directory is intended for small independents, I know that there are a lot of larger independents doing amazing things for the area and I am keen to work with them.

That is why I have created the Patron Package exclusively for you. This package allows you to feature in the directory and advertise events and job listings, whilst helping to support the growth of smaller independents. The package also includes the opportunity to mentor small business owners and build relationships through networking events,

To add your business, choose the Patron Membership Package and add your business to the directory.

Please note that businesses require an Admins Approval before they appear on the website, and will not be approved until payment has been received.

How much does membership cost?

As of December 2021, I currently offer five packages at varying costs designed to suit all budgets and business needs:

Basic: Free

Bronze: £10 a month

Silver: £25 a month

Gold: £50 a month

Patron: £125 a month

Is there a minimum term a business has to be a member for?

I fully appreciate that running a business is hard work and cashflows can change very quickly and unexpectedly. Therefore, I have decided to allow for optimum flexibility meaning you can end memberships as you need to.

This flexibility is also ideal if your business changes and you wish to upgrade to a higher membership.

For ultimate flexibility, I also offer add-ons that are designed to help businesses with restricted budgets.

PLEASE NOTE: Patron Members are expected to commit to a minimum term of 12 months, due to the different nature of your business and membership-type.
